    It won't start but starter and solenoid OK

    I've got a 2000 Toro ride on and I can't get it going. I'm inexperienced but have done various checks and replaced parts but alas it won't go - it doesn't turn. The starter and solenoid are new. The battery is showing 12+ V. I'm getting a click (solenoid) on turning the key and the starter...
