I have a older troy bronco riding mower with the Kohler 20 ,it would only run when you spray gas in it , cleaned the carburetor, same issue,the carburetor has a solenoid with 2 wires ,the new carburetor has 1 wire ,how can I make that work

Hi everyone I am new on here ,my blower would shut off a second after it started,I rebuilt the carburetor,now it won't run at all ,I cleaned the holes out of the carburetor with carb cleaner,I had a guy from stihl dealer tell me the carburetor is no good , when I sprayed the holes out I damaged...
