spindles might have zerks on the top of the deck, or on the bottom (under the blades) depending on the machine if they ar located on top of deck area, lower your deck to max low position MIGHT ... enable you to get to them, if they are located on the bottom as in the attached pic you have to...

I use the filter shown here ( red filter 3rd down ,left hand side ) for my push mower with a really short fuel line, yes a tight fit but its do-able, its 150 micron ( NON fuel-pump engines) works great, cheap about $3.50 at Ace Hardware, or $5.55 at the mower shop, only about 2 inches total...

REcheck your model numbers, 42813x92A is good, other one = ??? Most Murray series, close in year of Mfg. will interchange, I have changed mine around many times ... Notice these 2 spindles are different.. BUT are interchangeable, There is a 3rd shaft (rare) much thicker, used on some Murrays...

Yes under the flywheel, hope these diagrams help ...... look at diagram 8 ( the breather ) then look up at diagram 1 .. it sits between the cylinders at about 6:00 o clock position .......... ...

I've got 2 older Murray tractors (2004-2005) I pull off the decks about every 4 months, change blades, belts only if needed, grease the spindles, check the pulleys, bearings and mounting brackets for wear, replace the springs as needed, to remove the deck takes about 5 min. .... to replace...

Got these 2 deck-belt diagrams from the MTD model 604 manual (operators guide) .. Did a lil more digging... I THINK he has a 42in. deck .......
