Champion genset starts and runs with battery, but not with recoil start

like so many, it appears the poster wants to keep everyone in suspense, ho-hum . . . . . 😙

    Mower bogs down too much

my comments weren't meant as personal digs, just reality check. Early on I never really thought it was all that big a deal until a dealer pointed out that the engine housing can get just as clogged up as a mowing deck. That woke me up and I started doing that cleaning every time and not just a...

    Mower bogs down too much

no excuse for letting it get like that when the engine is totally accessible with an air hose or water hose. My IS2600 gets totally cleaned after each mowing. Radiator screen gets pulled and cleared as well as the radiator cleared of silt and crude..... pay me now or pay me later.....

Champion genset starts and runs with battery, but not with recoil start

that is generally true; however, the poster says: "It has NEVER started by pulling the rope, not since we bought it.". that said I'd guess (?) there might be a severe rust build up . . . . . easy to check that first then move on to something more severe. jmo

Champion genset starts and runs with battery, but not with recoil start

I'l start by asking what is the actual make of just the engine on this generator? Then I'll say that if it's starting via the electric battery then listen to echo what "slomo" stated in post #2.... I'll finish by saying that there's probably rust on the fly wheel and/or the armature preventing...

    Mower bogs down too much

did you ever get this issue figured out. 3-1/2" - 4" is not high at all, that's pretty much my standard cutting height.... if I'm gone for a month I'll have to cut anywhere from 9" - 12" and only have to slow down my speed too about 1/2 - 2/3rds normal speed.

Please help me find this part!

Thanks, but no offense taken... forums like these almost need a mandatory "fill in the blanks", i.e. pertinent make, model, part#, etc. and add any photo's for original postings - instead of trying to read posters minds. I know no one wants to try reading mine, it will be a fast assignment... 🤔

J.D. E120 Snowblower attachment works very poorly

My bad, I didn't assume you didn't do your due diligence since you do a great job in your posts, I simply goofed up and responded to your post assuming it was the original poster replying. So, another note for next years resolutions - look to see who wrote what first ..... 🫣

J.D. E120 Snowblower attachment works very poorly

You originally stated that,"The current belt is 60” - as has been mentioned already, this is the incorrect belt. It absolutely positively requires the M158130 -149.98 " belt. Either you're routing the belt wrong, or the snowblower is not installed totally in sync with the tractor. There are no...
