    Fuel Line Clamps

I would think any parts you need should be available at any Toro dealer that has a service/parts dept. Big box stores likely not. In a pinch mechanics wire would work as well.

    Score !!! 917.370431 mower

She's a bit older than me. I'm sure she appreciates having a good neighbor. I keep a .75A smart charger on my motorcycle during the off season. I have a short lead permanently attached to the battery and when not attached to the charger tucks neatly out of way and out of sight. From my own...

    Honda GX620 battery not charging

2 stroke fuel in 4 stroke engine

I’m not sure what might have happened or what “large enough release” means. Fuel? Something to try. Remove the spark plug and see if it turns over easier. If so maybe it’s flooded badly and partially hydro locked. Watch to see if any fuel spits out of the spark plug hole. While its out ground...

500 series push mower, gas in the oil

I'm leaning towards what dougand3 touched on earlier and perhaps fuel is being pushed into the crankcase between mowings due to air expansion in the fuel tank. If the gas cap is vented perhaps the vents are blocked. Check the fuel cap and/or leave it loose a bit to see if the problem persists...

OT Why is it that some people are so Rude !!

Most here will help out as much as they can. Sometimes questions and/or answers are written poorly and you have that 'huh?' moment and move on. And some people just come across a bit crusty but don't mean to be rude. And yeah, calling up a business for a how do I repair such and such will...

Honda hrn 216vka run out of adjustment on smart drive

Could be too long if it's not the correct belt. You didn't say where you are getting your belts from but a trip to a Honda Power Equipment dealership with model and serial number in hand should be able to get you the correct belt.

    Honda HR214/215 Carburetor 0-ring

I would just go to a Honda dealership, order the pilot jet set and be done with it. They're a genuine Honda part, they aren't very expensive, even less than the one pictured above and will last for decades if you use clean fuel and practice proper off-season storage. Unlike an o-ring in a valve...

The Model Of This Commercial-Grade Walk-Behind Mower And The Years It Was Manufactured

The owner's manual has a printed date of 1990 so it should be in the ball park. More info here. Can't tell you about parts availability but you could make a list of parts needed then take a visit to a Toro dealer or look online. Is it your mower or one found for sale?

GCV 160 (HRR2168VKA) lawnmower--irregular idle; dies under load.

From your description it appears the engine is not getting enough fuel (surging) due to a plugged jet and/or dirt and gunk in the fuel bowl. There are lots of videos available on YT on how to repair the problem and how to do tune-ups. Key search words would be Honda, surging, tune-ups. No harm...

HRA216 continues to pull forward after lever is released

I have an HRA215SX with a 3 speed tranny. Not sure of the exact differences between yours and mine but a while back I couldn’t shift out of first. Removed the deck’s rear access panel and there was quite a bit of old grass packed in the cavity. Cleaned it all out and now it shifts in to all...

    Whats wrong with my HRC216K3HXC

Weird things happen so I had to ask LOL. I get why cutting high is desired during the heat, I've done it myself, but my results looked just like your photos and I wasn't too pleased either. You could experiment by making a few passes at a lower cut heights and see if the results improve and go...

HRA216 continues to pull forward after lever is released

I also do bicycle repair and found Muc-Off dry* lube for bikes works quite well too. It goes on wet but dries to prevent dust from sticking. Its not an aerosol so you just drip a few drops it into the cable opening. Works well on anything that you don't want dust sticking to. But its not water...

HRA216 continues to pull forward after lever is released

Yes but at the top so gravity pulls the lube downward. Once a year or so I spray some silicone into the cable housing up near the controls. I give it few good shots then move the levers back and forth to help work the lube down the housing. One of them might have a black rubber grommet for...

    Whats wrong with my HRC216K3HXC

If this was just cut it looks quite long. What's the mower height set at? Trying to cut too tall perhaps and not getting good lift? Trying to cut too fast and engine speed too slow? Blade up side down?

Model: HRR 216 VXA Serial: MZCG 7735025 Oil Quickly Smokey

It's called blow-by caused by worn piston rings. The oil on the filter might be caused from the blow-by gases exiting the breather hose behind the filter. By the sounds of it I wouldn't spend too much time and money on it.

    HRA216 Commercial mower BBC question

From a safety standpoint it would make sense that if the BBC is 'broken' the blade will not engage until its repaired. So if your blade is always engaged it might have been tampered with. My HRA215 is likely similar so if you need a picture from below I can post one for you.

    HRX217 transmission options?

Honda has offered hydrostatic transmissions in their walk behinds since at least 1990 (I have a mower brochure printed 03/90) plus they are also found in their commercial walk behind mowers so they are nothing new to Honda. The HRX in my sig is a hydrostatic drive and I like it as it allows...

    HRX217 transmission options?

Cub Cadet xt1 which way mower belt should face

The beveled side should fit into the wedge of the pulley with the flat side out. Depending on the pulley setup as with a tensioner the flat side would ride on the 'flat' tensioner pulley. Hopefully that makes sense.

    Honda HR215 Battery question

Depending on the charge rate after 24 hours it 'should' be fully charged and reading somewhat above 12 volts at rest. At 5.2v its officially dead. I guess you could leave it on longer and hope for the best. I'm assuming it's battery is similar to a small motorcycle type battery. If not then its...

    Honda HR215 Battery question

I would try recharging the battery with a 'smart' battery tender that regulates the charge and stops charging when finished. They can be left on indefinitely without harm to the battery. This is assuming the mower's battery chemistry is compatible with the charger and the battery is not damaged...

    Oil in Combustion Chamber

Don't worry you're the not the first one. I did it once myself through the school of hard knocks. Is it hydro locked (can't pull the starter rope)? Honda HR215 Mulch Plug

Yours appears to have the plastic deck (now called Nexite) whereas the others are steel or aluminum so unlikely exactly the same. Before giving up on it I'd contact a Honda dealer and ask them what if any might fit your model.

    Honda HR215 Mulch Plug

It could be. I don't know what blade or blades originally came with it. The previous owner might have installed them. Using the link I provided does it show mulching blades? As it is have you tried mulching with it?

    Honda HR215 Mulch Plug

Looking on the ereplacementparts.com site I see a side chute for that model but not a mulch plug. The model number indicates it's a Canadian version? If so, and if you haven't already, contact a local Honda power equipment dealer and see what they can do for you.
