Why 50% of All Crimp Electric Connections Fail - One Trick Fixes It

A properly crimped terminal is what is called gas tight meaning the metal of the terminal is compressed hard enough on the wire that oxygen molecules can't get between the terminal and wire. If not crimped properly oxygen can penetrate and oxidize the metals causing corrosion. 99% of DIY crimps...

I am confused..... you say it has a pulley on the top of the engine to drive the front wheel. Does it have a pull rope start or electric? I don't understand how it has a belt pulley and a rope recoil on the engine.

You might get the briggs 19114 wrench to fit. It is out of production. You could get a piece of flat stock and drill 2 holes in it and use a couple grade 5 or 8 bolts and use it like a pin spanner to remove the clutch.

Interesting thread. I have a crap load of craftsman tools. I have a 5 gal bucket of extra sockets and a half bucket of wrenches. I have used and abused craftsman tools for 50 years. Most of them made by Easco. Never had a problem getting one replaced when it was over abused (you do what you...

I thought I was special when I moved up from a UDS 300 baud to a Hays 1200 baud modem. In 1976 in the service we had just moved from 5 level baudot punch tape to 8 level ASCII which came out in 1963.

Try this. Install NEW spark plugs. Disconnect the coil kill wires. Remove air cleaner and spray about a 2 second shot of starting fluid into carb. Don't choke it. Try to start engine. If engine fires up and runs for a few seconds you have spark on at least one cylinder and valves are close...

If the compressor is being vented when engine goes to idle maybe the engine idle speed too low possibly? There shouldn't be much load from the compressor at idle if it is being vented. Not sure what's going on.

    T210 blade removal

I do charge for time to remove/destroy/break off fasteners. I work on lots of old stuff and I have an induction heater, impact tools and an oxy propane torch so most rusted nuts and bolts don't give much trouble. What I spend time on is tiller tines and rear wheels on some riding mowers.

I think it is. Started out life as a 4.3L (265) V8 then went to 5.7L (350) then got 2 cylinders chopped off to a 4.3L (262) then a computer, fuel injection and variable valve timing. Just one of the evolutions of the small block chevy.

That is where the the compressor vents when the pilot shifts to idle. If you pull the line from the check valve it should unload the compressor and not stall the engine when it shifts to idle.

When the engine stops the tank shouldn't be venting. Where is the air venting from with the engine stopped? Number 19 is the check valve. It is very common for those to leak. When they leak it can screw up what the pilot valve does as it leaks pressure back into the compressor. looks like the...
