Cant help without Make, Model numbers of your transaxle units .. we can't see the unit, and we don't have a crystal ball.. see EXAMPLE of ID tags...... should be located right on the transaxle unit somewhere ............ .... click to enlarge

Re: Compressor repower I think you can get away with #12 wire (THHN - prefered) good for 25+Amps.) .. & TW #14 Gauge = good for 15 Amps. I been outa the trade a Lonnnnng time ..... Starter And Motor should be #8 ( ur using 10) press. sw = 14 or 12 wire see diagram and video I sent earlier...

Directions to remove the deck off the machine are SOMETIMES in the owners Guide/Manual should also be on a youtube... in case you need to do so, ......... click to enlarge

spindles might have zerks on the top of the deck, or on the bottom (under the blades) depending on the machine if they ar located on top of deck area, lower your deck to max low position MIGHT ... enable you to get to them, if they are located on the bottom as in the attached pic you have to...

Sounds like a fuel system issue, Would help if you posted the engine model,type,code numbers, I suspect you have a Briggs 24HP..?? the info we need is stamped into one of the valve covers (see example) .......... click to enlarge Usually the carburetor is dirty, which requires removal &...

Keep ALL the filters CLEAN, oil FULL, and annually remove engine shroud to clean out the cooling fins, GOOD Maintenance is the key to a dependable machine, oil & filters are cheap compared to O/H or replacement costs of another engine, I change my fuel filter TWICE a year, carburetors are...

Yes the Model and make of the transaxle is needed.. should be on a plate or sticker on the trans. itself, see examples, I think you might have a Tecumseh-Peerless transaxle so I included a Manual that might help... let us know ... ...
