Could you clarify what is and isn't happening and when, what you've written is confusing. Also, try another PTO switch, I just had mine go out similar to yours and then the new one they gave me was bad as well. The dealer went through 3 before they got a good one. Sheezzzz

    Diesel vs Gas

I'm no spring chicken anymore but still try to do most of my own maintenance. The Ferris really is as easy to do as my JD, maybe easier. The one thing that I am particular about is making sure I buy my diesel fuel from a good source and only there. I've figured the fuel consumption is about a...

I got them right at my Ferris dealer. I also have a IS2600Z that I use for the basic lawn cutting, and it rides smooth. Post a photo or two of your seat and the coil/rubber bumpers. Bumpy ride continued

I agree that the ground should probably be leveled; but, for what it's worth I changed out the JD OEM coils springs under the seat for a pair of Ferris and the ride is 10 times smoother. The JD coils were to dang stiff . . . .

Buying Advice Ferris IS700 Mower-Not Worth the Money

Just maybe Trump was right to do so. Darn near everyone knows that the quality of the metal and parts coming from China are inferior; but, alas they are cheaper due to labor costs. So, the issue becomes a Fram oil commercial, i.e. "You pay me now or you pay me later". Just maybe it's time to...

".....this is something that does apply to automotive engines but is irrelevant to mower engines." I would respectfully disagree; because, if there's rust on the "threads" then there's no doubt rust on the threads in the hole. Unless you run a tap into the hole and clean off the hole threads...
