Help for a first time blade replacer?

NOTE: For each blades large nut/bolt....to un-thread (take off) turn each large nut/bolt LEFT (counter clock wise)......to thread (back on) turn the large nut/bolt RIGHT (clock wise). 1.) Use an impact drill (setting in Reverse) to "only remove" the large nut/bolt for each blade one at a time...

Help for a first time blade replacer?

Any basic type of torque wrench that can be found in a hardware or auto parts store is fine to use just as long as it has the ability to meet the specific torque value ratings such as 10-80 foot pounds or 20-110 foot pounds, etc.

Help for a first time blade replacer?

I change the blades on my mower every Spring (regardless of what amount of hours the mower shows). Yes....good idea... "always" refer to the Owners/User Manual that is specific to your model mower first and foremost. The torque specification(s) is there just search for it. First make sure you...

Does a Harbor Freight cheaper ($100) mower lift work on a Hustler Raptor 60" mower?

Looks like the 750 lb. Heavy Duty High Lift Jack from HF is a winner for what it specifically is used for. Even the "REVIEWS" on it are good. https://www.harborfreight.com/750-lb-heavy-duty-atvmower-high-lift-jack-63298.html If I needed one, this would definitely be the one I'd invest $ in.

    Hustler Raptor 52" Deck Lift

From the pictures you posted it looks like the "bolt" (on the right side, last picture) is on the verge of being stripped out / bent / or ready to fall off due to the angle that it is sitting at? Causing the main weight of the deck to shift to the left side? Replace those bolts & screws to...

The Fuel Tank's Sending Unit pop's out, though be extremely careful when performing this, just take your time gently working it out and it will eventually come off/pop up. Here is the Fuel Tanks new Sending Unit's part number: 607052 ( https://www.hustlerlawnmowerparts.com/cart.php )

    Engine Pre-Filter cleaning

Basically this thread is more out of curiosity. I know and realize that not every Hustler model ZT mowers engine comes equipped with a Pre-Filter. This thread is directed to those individuals that do maintain their own engines maintenance, etc. My particular Hustler mowers' engine (Kohler...

    Changing Blades

I'm just going to throw this out there. How often do y'all change the blades on your mower? Once a year?......every two years?.....every three years?......etc.....or do you just change them whenever you feel the time has come to have them changed?

    Raptor Flip-Up Oil Change

Well today was my very first time changing the oil & oil filter, spark plugs, engine & fuel filter(s) on my Raptor flip up ZT. I'm used to doing regular maintenance on mowers, vehicles, etc. but was quite surprised by the process of draining the oil out of a Raptor flip up. Now I don't really...

Hustler Raptor Flip Up Fuel Gauge
