Taking a closer look I think my comment of a bent shaft is incorrect.

I have no problem changing out a belt. Sure a lot cheaper than a mini tractor at this point. Was successful in pulling the grader in my drive and my neighbors drive. It does smooth out the stones really well. Gotta go and order a backup belt for the golf cart.

Well SidecarFlip you were right: issue is on top of the motor. Look what I found. This is what I found when I turned the flywheel over when I took it off. Doesn't look like there is any hope in repairing. Nothing to attach a new stator to. Really tore up the flywheel.
