I bought a used craftsman LT2000 and changed the spindles and I discovered that it had a shorter belt on it than it should have this caused the blades to not disengage when I disengaged the lever. I put the new belt on and now when I engage the blades smoke comes from under the very front...
I already changed out the coil which did wonders but I am wondering, since the spindels don't have a zert to grease them and one of them is hard to turn with my hand will this cause enouph stress on the engine to cause it to overheat?
