shift on the fly, not sure of year forward/reverse shift lever on fender and speed control on dash stuck in low gear, I can shift between forward and reverse but mower moves at snails pace I posted this question and someone said need to know model number, sticker is rusted off

hallogen headlight style,not sure of year, speed control lever doesn't work, mower moves very slowley. Anybody got any pointers, thanks
