Yes,of course you are correct, but the equipment is the same. Only the 'welding' rod is changed.

    CMXGAAH46BT PARTS??

Auto body shops most all have plastic(HDPE)welding equipment and experience at repairing bumper covers.

Photo hint: "landscape mode" please. I'd love to see the whole mower. Sweet machine.

Mower dies when moved out of park.

Personally, I like my safety switches. I seldom drive off with the brake on,but sometimes do. Those (expensive) little toothed brake locks on HydroGears will not take any abuse and still function. The 'unoccupied seat kill switch' didn't work when I acquired the ztr,but it does now, as does the...

    Never take their word

That was big of him and I'd bet, unexpected. In reality, he shouldn't mind, being that you're doing some testing FOR him. He most likely has no idea what is being put in his tanks. It's ,as was said, the delivery driver that does the delivery, and even he may not be sure what he's hauling. Only...

I have a Poulan Pro gas chain saw for any big jobs, but for some little stuff ,my 110v saw is what I grab. Works surprising well.

I do that same test on the 'No ethanol added' fuel I buy at my local station that sells OPE fuel.

    No oil change?

I have a vacuum tube, looks similar to a grease gun without the side pump handle. Just stick the sucker tube down the dipstick hole and pull the handle. I take the drain plug out on my mowers, but I have this for my boat motor. It'd work fine on a mower engine,I'd bet.

    wont run, smokes like crazy

I agree with the fix the issue. Just putting the valve in the fuel line and not fixing the needle valve is indeed courting disaster. If one forgets to shut off the fuel, one may also forget to check oil level before the start-up. Result is bye-bye engine. I did this as I tend to be forgetful and...

    Engine Pulley Bolt/Socket Size?

The "corner post" hoists I was referring to were fabricated on-site with common pipe and "H" beam. Made in the size that fit the space.

    Engine Pulley Bolt/Socket Size?

Just a thought, but the shop I retired from had traveling 20T overhead hoists in the main shop. In the smaller parts of the building, there were swing post hoists with a hoist trolley on the beam. The post was in the corner of the shop and the beam swung around against the wall when not in use...

    After market spindles

Good to know. Thank you for that bit of valuable information. The parts people weren't able to tell me when I asked, are the bearings assembled in Mexico,or totally manufactured there. If the bearing were assembled in Mexico of USA parts,I'd be OK with that. Exporting jobs may be better than...

It is disheartening, but there it is..The last spindle bearings I had to replace,I went looking for Timken bearings and found them. BUT ,the boxes were marked: Made in China".

Pins on Toro MX5060 don't work

That's how my HyrdoGear transmissions work on my CZ42175. "IN" is Drive, "Out " is disengaged. HOWEVER: This is a copy and paste from the Toro manual. Same as other posts. Mine are opposite! Go figure.

Tire pressure for zero turn lawn mowers

The pressure on the tire sidewall isn't to be confused with the recommended tire pressure for any particular mower. Use the sage advice here or in your owner's manual and ignore the sidewall numbers. The tire sidewall numbers are there for safety reasons, exceed them at your own risk,or risk an...

Sometimes,it's just too much to read in the time I have,bertsmobile1. Please be advised, EVERY word you post is ALWAYS read by me, sometimes twice(or more). Others would be wise to do so. To sit and share a pint(or two) would be such a pleasure. Lawn Royalty, indeed! AHTK!

    Is 2HP a big difference?

Those Wartzillas(Godzilla's) used to be built close to where I live. A connecting rod nut weighed over 500 pounds. Sometimes,a couple of hp don't amount to much. On a more serious side, I have several Briggs 500cc engines, one a 19hp and another is a 17.5 engine, the other one has no hp...

Well I can blame this on Covid-19 mess.

It's getting very close to that here in the good 'ol USA. Our city has outfitted plate readers to the patrol cars now. The LEO's won't say what all they can be used for. They say they ae only for checking for stolen vehicles. Ooooook, yeah, right.

    No oil change?

I change in the Fall at the end of mowing season. I feel it is better to have the engine spend the downtime with new oil, rather than have the old oil settling out over the winter months. Just how I do it, no recommendation to others.

    Briggs broke rod

My 2 cents worth is based on my engine issues in the recent past. When my ZTR Husqvarna engine broke a rod, I factored in all the "if's" and related costs of rebuilding the engine compared to the mower replacement cost for a similar mower. Although i certainly did not want to spend the new...

    No oil change?

Many years ago,I had a 1957 Ford 2d sedan with an inline 6 that leaked and burnt a considerable amount of oil and I had to add oil nearly every time I drove it. The oil was constantly being "changed", but I still changed the oil and filter at the recommended mileage. It lasted me all through...

    Best fuel stabilizer

Friends of mine that actually make gasoline say winter gas is more likely to go bad over time than "summer blend" gasoline because it is more volatile to aid cold weather engine starting. 'Summer' gas will store better,BUT it's best to just NOT store any gasoline, just buy what you will be using...

126M02-6675-F2 Won't Run - Replaced Carb & Flywheel Key - Still No Go

Is this just another case of cost cutting, buyer be damned? Glazing the porcelain would add to the cost so why do it if the plug will last a season! As for me, I'm happy with my Briggs and Stratton branded spark plugs.

126M02-6675-F2 Won't Run - Replaced Carb & Flywheel Key - Still No Go

I was recommended this plug for my Briggs engines by a pro mower guy. He says it is way more resistant to carbon fouling and misfiring. He has a gang of summer workers that are NTB and will over-choke an engine until it starts to sputter and sputter and foul a regular copper plug. I have had no...

    Mower Safety

I just saw an advertisement on TV for Gorilla Tape and the tape makers were suggesting/recommending that it is just the thing to re-attach the discharge chute to your push mower. Oil???

So...is this B&S oil a re-labeled oil made by a major oil maker such as what I have been using? I've been using Shell Rotella diesel in my non-cat sportscar and also for my small engines. Is this oil formulated for Briggs and to their specs?
  49. S

I have my serial number but it does not exist on the B&S website - or anywhere

I'd be using them for other stuff than cleaning a carb. Most all my carbs have way too small passages in them, except maybe my Carter VS.
