Man you are awesome! I found the piston with rod complete on ebay. Now I need a gasket kit if you have a source that would be great . I don't know anything but model# 40h777 Type # 0171E1 Code# 040421YG Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is my first rebuild and slowly I'm getting...- Cubby 18.5

Wow. Did not realize what a pain it would be to track down parts and how expensive they are. I found a piston,rod on ebay. Just need gaskets . The model is 40h777. Not sure year build. And does this unit use a woodfuff key for the timing gear? I don't see a slot where it would go . Any help...- Cubby 18.5

Rebuild kit ?
Hey folks New to this . I am on the process of rebuilding a briggs 18.5 engine. Looking forva good parts source for gaskets, piston rod and connecting rod .re using 1 that's good . Any help greatly appreciated Thanks all- Cubby 18.5
