I'm Florida and it is a pretty common fuel type. It is the only fuel I use on my boat as well as small engine equipment. It's definitely pricier but I think worth.

Mower ran fine 1 week ago and now it starts up and after 5 minutes it starts to backfire and shut off. I let it cool down and it starts up, runs fine for a few minutes and shuts down. Fuel is new. Seems like once it gets warm it shuts down. Anyone have any suggestions? Would a bad coil...

Thanks! I will try that. I also plan to adjust the pitch of the fuel line to the carb, so it does not sag.

I also installed a cut off valve which I did not have before (see pic). Could it be it is restricting fuel whenever I am at any type of slant?

I actually kept the original carb and replaced the float & gasket only since that was the initial problem.
