Use 100% gas. If I could buy another antique B&S Flathead 22" Pusher, I would. Mine is 18 years old & still cutting like a hot knife thru butter. 1 pull starts. They don't make em like they used to. (no offense meant)..

Kawasaki Engine has Solid Lifters, so having Zinc is very beneficial to this. Their own brand K-Tech has zinc in it.. I think Kawasaki knows their engines pretty well.

Then I take a black Sharpie, & put a straight line thru the clamp housing & across the hex head. This way I can at a quick glance know if the clamp has loosened.

Cool, my 18 year old B&S Flathead 22" pusher still runs fine as well. I keep the blade sharp & it cuts beautifully. As to the wheels, of course all 4 of mine wore out. But I bored them plastic rims out to take bushings I made & installed.. No more cheap wheels situation.

Use 100% gas & Amsoil Saber oil mix

Take something like a rubber mud flap & attach to your deck in the best place to help prevent the blow-out.

Good tach should have a place to select how many cylinders it is timing.

I use Fluid Film too, & it does well.

Get the voltmeter , or take battery to local Auto parts store, have it load tested & volts test. If good, & you can start it, check battery volts while it is running, should be higher than 12.6, more like 13v or even 14volts. Then you'd know it is charging.

Some of the hot rod guys run E-85 & claim tuned properly get much more power.

I also only use Ethanol-FREE gas, & my 22" B&S Flathead push mower is 18 years old & still runs good. And is well cared for. My vintage Honda FG-100 mini-tiller was made in 1998 & still doing it's job albeit 1x per year. (26 years). We cut here @ 4 inches.. Lots of other pushers won't adjust...

Yea, my thought exactly.. Certainly the making of this ev stuff is harder on the enviorment, than gas.

Some I have read remove the blower housing after last mow & leave it off till ready for new season..Then re-install.

Don't waste yer time looking for another Dana. They had to quit making parts before my warranty ran out on a 42" rider. It's a POS. 1st thing is leaking at the wheels..

I'm 10 years on my original speed feed head cap. I just bullet proofed it long ago... Cause I do bump on asphalt & concrete, Can't hurt it, it's bullet proofed. It's not wearing because of this little mod. .

Do you understand some trimmers spin to the right and some spin to the left? The spool sides are identical but is reversed so it so it works for both directions. Take the string out. Flip the spool, put the cap back on, and reload it. Just flipping it loaded won't resolve the issue.
