I Was Given a Hustler Faxtrax

I know nothing about it and haven't had a chance to look at it. He said that it ran and he was mowing with it but the tube came off the carb. He was tired of fooling with it so I towed it a couple blocks to my driveway.
It has surface rust but no rust-through on deck or the body. He has some more parts for it that he's going to give me which I hope includes the roll bar. Pics tomorrow.
After I get it running I'll change the hydro fluid.

I hope that he engaged the hydro bypass before dragging it.

No... I looked but didn't see them. I began dragging it and the wheels weren't turning or turning slowly. so I then dragged it on the grass the rest of the way... I didn't have time to f-around because another guy wanted it. I needed to get it to my home asap. After I got it home I watched a youtube video on how to disengage the servo. I think it will be ok.
