Be a little more specific.
Scrap old blades and install new blades?
Remove dull blades and install sharpened blades?
Generally, I scrap blades that aren't worth sharpening.
I install sharpened blades every 12 hours.
You can tell usually when you begin seeing grass being left standing after you pass over it , especially when turning the machine. It will begin to leave strips here and there
