Dentent spring

I have a Briggs quantum series 675 model 126T02-0290-B1. There is two springs the longer one goes around the throttle linkage I believe, the smaller I think is called the dentent spring. Does anyone have a picture of where and how it hooks up. Greatly appreciated in advance

To me that looks like a governor spring. Can you take a couple of pictures showing the top of the carb?

there are many spring configurations on the 6.75 hp 120000 series motors. Many are in the Briggs repair book showing those configurations. This is on a Toro vertical mower engine. No idea whether yours is vertical or horizontal. This one is a 125K02-0189-E1

I may be wrong, but I don’t believe that the spring you posted belongs to the engine number you posted. I can’t find it on the IPL for your engine. Are you sure that the spring posted came from your engine? The pictures the Sgkent posted are the governor spring and stop control spring.
