Big trouble pulling GCV190 flywheel

I am having no luck pulling a Honda CGCV190 flywheel. I have tried a 2 leg puller with out any success. I am thinking that arms on my claw type puller squeezes the top of the flywheel and is not pulling straight up enough. I have ordered a 8 inch puller that gas straight arms and will allow me to pull straight up. I have tried loosening the flywheel nut slightly and smacking the nut with a hammer while pulling up the flywheel with a pry bar….no luck.
I saw a video where they suggested using an air hammer on the top of the crank while prying up and I tried that unsuccessfully. Anyone have any ideas

Stay patient. I've seen some rough ones.
I've left the puller on some overnight and go back next day and they were popped.
You really develop/acquire get an experience of feel for such and not break or damage things.

On some flywheels I have to warm/cool them. (out about 2 inchs from the crankshaft using a propane torch) You want the flywheel metal to expand faster than the crankshaft metal
Note I said warm, it's warm enough when you spit on it and it spits back)

Heat cool is your friend.

With a propane torch , slowly move the flame from the outer edge area and work the way into the shaft .. Not hot but about 30° above ambient .
By applying the heat to the outer edge surface first.the flywheel will expand before the shaft has a chance to get hot .

just don't get it so hot it damages any charging system.
