I need a plug aerator that is reliable, sturdy and won't break the bank

My usage with Air-8 was a waste of money. Tried their entire line for 3 seasons. Really laid the product down as in over dosing the juice on the turf. Still have stubborn clay.

Done all the humic acids and other "tricks" to turn clay soil around. Never found any. Spent a lot of $$$$ trying......

Think the only true fix for clay is a ton of compost and a roto-tiller every year. Probably a little sand mixed in while tilling.

Sorry you didn't have good results with Air-8. I have not used the product personally. My neighbor does and his lawn looks great. I understand it takes at least 3 years for it to have the desired effect and the directions are very finicky, especially the mowing periods before and after use. That's why I opted for the tow behind plug aerator.

Mine looks great too without all the extra expenses.

There are a couple guys on this interscreen that work along side these Air-8 and Humic companies that are getting fat off us. They make youtube videos and have a large following. Smart guys no doubt. They just make you feel like you "need" their latest super duty maximum overdrive pimp my ride juice for a nice looking lawn. I bought into it, like a fool. Your mileage may vary.....
