I have Exmarks & couple Scags (Cheetah & Tiger Cat) I am looking to do away with the gas tank selector valve on the Scags and just replace it with a Tee fitting. I love that the Exmark's will drawl from both tanks equally and not require the operator to scramble for the selector valve if a tank is running out. Anyone done this? Any reason it won't work on the Scags?

Filling both might be entertaining. Gallon in this one, gal in that one. Lather rinse repeat several times.

Separate tanks are there for a reason. Tanks do develop problems. Tanks do get damaged. I do have customer using only one tank due the other being holed at the bottom.

Understood, and should this happen, one can easily stop using the bad tank. Really just looking for an answer to the question.🙄

Also if one tank runs dry it will be hard to pickup the fuel as the vacuum will pull from the one with the least resistance. Can it be done yes. Is it advisable probably not especially if out in a distance part you cutting area and run out of gas.

Just had install an electric pump on a dual tank Gravely because when it runs out of gas is very hard to get re-primed. Over 6 ft of fuel line just the tank valve another two feet to each tank.
