    I've never seen a sponge like that in any Stihl FS56 I have dealt with. This looks like and "oops" part that got in there

    On this engine the one is steel and the other is aluminum. This is normal and the reason the colors are different.

    My experience with Kohler Efi has shown fault with fuel pressure every time. Those fuel pumps are pathetic. Especially the after markets...
