Problem is the dollar is buying less and is plentiful manufacturing is down (fewer products more competition to buy them.) In short the dollar will be buying less in 2022 than it was in 2021. Saw a help wanted posting this morning on Facebook from chick-fillet starting out at $19 per hour.

When you change the filter and sharpen the blades the first time expect them to be very tight (must be a kohler liability thing.)Good luck with your new mower.

You will like the kohler ! parts and service is available everywhere but I double you will need that for a very long time.

I bought a new badboy MZ 42 for my 3/4 acre lot this spring with a kohler 19 hp and I could not be happier with it. Plenty of power and good fuel economy and not a minutes trouble.

According to my local dealer the new kohler engines are giving very little trouble. I would bet you will be very with yours.

I would fertilize it in about 5 weeks then just overseed the bare spots as needed. Keep it mowed at about 3 1/2 inches. You will have a nice yard for next year.

I would go with the toro and all that warranty. I would venture to guess most residential customers in this country are mowing with ZT 2100, 2200 in there zero turns. With reasonable care they will last the life of the mower. Just my 2 cents.

Probably had dull blades, I’ll adjusted tire pressure, poor engine tune and who knows what else is going own with that particular gravely . I don’t own a gravely but most owners like them. Just my 2 cents.

I bought a new MZ 42 this season not a minutes trouble! Nice cut and build like a tank. Also very low center of gravity . I only mow about 3/4 of an acre, with some hills. It has eased my pucker power on the hills.

Why not buy mower with zt2200 for a third acre it’s all you need, occasional pulling a couple hundred lbs will not hurt it. My 42 in badboy mz42 can tow 200 lbs. save yourself A lot of money.

As thick as the decks are on the badboy mowers doubt they will need much more that a few cleanings a season can not imagine them rusting through lol.

Sounds like you have an engine problem Badboy does not make engines, but most engine manufactures have a 3 year warranty !!

Badboy mowers are a great product and have constantly improved over the years. And like all good products at a fair price they are hard to find!
