I'm searching for help with a Generac 212 engine (2000 to 3100 psi Power Washer). Got it started but will only run with the choke full on.

Removed the carb and disassembled. I followed the video, cleaned it up. I also found the main jet blocked. Reassembled and installed. Power washer started on third pull and ran like it was new. Thanks Scrub!

Perfect. Watched all the way through. May DL to laptop and take that out to the shop. Thanks again.

Thanks Scrub. I was going to pull it off tomorrow morning, so I'll go through it and clean out any residue.

This 2012 212 engine will start and run but only if I keep the choke pulled all the way out, (full on choke setting). Once running the unit runs steady then spits occasionally which I expect is a misfire. The choke will eventually start to creep down via vibration. When that happens the engine...

    Oil Change surprise... Question

Well... being the kind of magical guy I am I made the extra oil disappear. And.. I know who I am (have had 74 years to figure that out), so I have no trouble saying... I made a mistake. (wife says I never, ever, admit to mistakes but I do). I knew to check the oil without screwing the stick...

    Oil Change surprise... Question

2022 eXmark Radius 52 deck with a Kawasaki FX 691V engine. Oil eXmark 10-30 and Kawasaki Oil Filter 49065-0721 Spring engine oil and filter change. That small drain plug on the end of the hose, was a real B****** to open. Either it picked up heat from the exhaust or this was the first time...

Simple question; answer, maybe not so much

Bodean, there are mixed opinions about running internal combustion engines in the winter. The argument is that starting it after the oil has drained actually does more damage (incrementally) than letting it sit all winter and just starting it once in the spring when the season starts. I am not...

Simple question; answer, maybe not so much

Regarding service, oil and filters change. I do it once a year, my preference is to do it in the Spring at the start of the new season. Wondering what others do. Change it in the fall when it gets put away for the winter? The mower is one year old with one season on the books, no more than 20...

    Seat position adjustment?

Solved. It was right there in front of me. The handles are adjustable. No need to move the seat back. I loosened the two bolts that attach the handle to the control shaft and moved the handles forward a little. Solved the problem.

    Seat position adjustment?

2022 Radius S with the upgraded adjustable seat. This is the one with the knob on the front to adjust spring tension. I'm too close to the driving handles. Is there a way to extend the backward travel of the seat, I am currently at the rear stop. If the seat can't be moved any further back, is...

Rookie mistake; Left key "on" overnight.

So I've heard. Thanks for the response. I made a note in the unlikely event it becomes an issue.

    Low energy rant

This is a message about visiting the "World of Coffee and Tea" (link) Probably not on point with the topic of the thread.

Massive, massive, paint analysis, no expense spared.

It took me over 15 years to hit 500 hours on my old broken JD LT160. I certainly hope to get more than that out of the new xMark Radius.
