I hope to have time this weekend to check it out, the diagrams on the cub cadet sight don’t show bushings or grease fittings, so just hoping for something I can fix. Otherwise it may become a parts machine for the lt 1050

The front wheels go pigeon toed when backing up on a used Lt1550 I just bought. The steering gear bushing is shot, but I’m not seeing anything else to obviou yet while it’s on the trailer. Anything else I should check when I unload it?

I put on a new Oem belt, that seems to work now, at least when I operate the mower. Fingers crossed for when the brothers operate it.

All of the pulleys seem fine. When we hoisted up the machine, we found the belts stuck under the transaxle pulley all shredded, within minutes of starting operation of the unit. Both times. The original belt was on for years and the second belt was the same as original.

Is there a way to test the transaxle without a belt installed?
