Massive, massive, paint analysis, no expense spared.

You can afford pizza? You must be wealthy. Tried the same on my Mahindra tractor, but used Sunrise Red which was a perfect match on the paint that had not yet faded. A quart can is used for spraying with mineral spirits for a reducer. This seems to work best in my hot sub-tropical climate...

    SIDE CHUTE

Could it be repaired with plastic welding? After getting a cheap plastic welder I've been able to repair almost any plastic part. Although I have 2 welders, the one that looks like a soldering iron with a flat foot works best for me. Most plastic has a code which identifies the type of...

    Never take their word

I have used the HF battery pole saw and hedge trimmer for years with no problems. Both have plenty of reserve power to get the job done on a single charge. Far from commercial quality, but both work fine for a weekend warrior.

z930m EFI loses power after 20 minutes

Is the gap adjustable? Was a Mopar problem. Replacement sensor had a paper sticker on the end that set the gap and was wiped away at initial engine crank after replacement.

z930m EFI loses power after 20 minutes

Only proves that the engine will run at no load even with low fuel pressure. I regularly clean automobile fuel injectors at less than system pressure and the engines will run fine at no load idle. Pressure gauge at injector rail proves it is or isn't fuel pressure related. Doesn't hurt to...

Help my cub cadet will not start and I do not know why

Three words of advice from someone who does auto electric troubleshooting, firing the parts cannon should not become an option. Very expensive. When checking electrical connections, do not use only a meter. The high input impedence will show the worst connection as good. Use a test light...

    Mantis tiller won’t stay running

Ah yes entire batches of parts that don't play nice. A few years ago, I bought a trailer sprayer for the sole purpose of spraying my gravel drive with glyphosate and it worked flawlessly. Then one day the pump failed and after taking it apart, I found the diaphragms were swelled to the point...

    Mantis tiller won’t stay running

Star, Yes, sadly, courtesy is a rare commodity in today's world. People of my (our?) generation are appalled at the change for the worse that is happening before our eyes. And don't get me started on doctors who no longer practice medicine, but instead blindly follow the marching orders of...

    Mantis tiller won’t stay running

As too often happens. Sure is helpful to future followers of a thread to find out what solved the problem and it only takes a minute to extend that courtesy.

    Mantis tiller won’t stay running

Yes, item 11 was the source of my problem. Thanks for the clarification.

    Mantis tiller won’t stay running

I had the same problem with my Mantis. The tank vent was not working and the fuel would only flow if the fuel cap was loose. Try looking at the vent fitting.

Does coating the underside of deck really work?

I haven't tried scraping the underside during the mowing season, rather using a water stream instead. The bedliner is mostly intact when the deck is again removed for service. Here the mowing season is 12 months, so I think the bedliner is a good, easily applied coating giving 12 months of...

Does coating the underside of deck really work?

I have used the bed liner for the last two years with good results. Three years ago I sand blasted the rust from the 10 year old deck and primed and painted. Realizing that would not work, the following year I pressure washed and used Rustoleum bed liner spray. Results were impressive, so the...

    Dixon Mower Deck

I use Rustoleum spray bedliner and it lasts about 12 months. For an annual maintenance, I remove the deck and pressure wash then recoat. Works great here where mowing season is 12 months long.
