Thank you all for your pleasant greetings. i have found numerous; almost hidden fixings while stripping the outer skin of the 827m and a somewhat rusty mower deck which is now on my workbench. I will "rub, scrub, dub and drink coffee while quietly swearing" then treat the rust accordingly.
