Thanks for the info the unit has gone back to its owner in good running condition. Primer,spark plug carb diaphragm, carb gasket and spring were replaced starts first pull know.

Compression Test indicates 60 PSI. Is it time to scrap this critter?

Have cleaned carb this afternoon. It was dirty. Blew out what I could and cleaned the filter. Diaphragm appears weak look for a replacement tomorrow.

Flywheel key is fine.

This little critter won't start. Engine has compression fuel and spark. Will not start with starting fluid. What the heck? Kill switch?

Does not appear warped. Replaced Air box to carb gasket, primer bulb. Cleaned Mower starts and runs on 3-5 pushes of primer bulb. Also cleaned carb, and flushed all passages

650 engine will not start without starting fluid. Once started it will continue to run smooth and normal. Has new spark plug and air filter. Dirty carb? Primer not working?
