How to stop cut grass blades from accumulating inside mower cavity?

Yes, but will try cutting less leaving the grass blades longer. so the vacuumed shorter pieces may adhere less.

How to stop cut grass blades from accumulating inside mower cavity?

When I use our Honda gas mower to mow the lawn (dry), grass does not sick to the periphery of the inside of the mower. But when using our Ego electric mower, the grass does adhere. This causes clumps of grass to fall on the lawn. I've cleaned the inside and made sure it was dry, but the...

Sod several months old, now has several areas of "rusty blades". See picture.

Oh my! I mowed the lawn and a golden brown powder coated the inside of the grass collecting bag, so there must be a big time fungal infection in the lawn. I've never experienced this in my >40 years of caring for a lawn. Is this due to the sod grower? Bad luck? Something we did in caring...

Thank you. YES... areas are dry. Have called the sod and irrigation installer. Using 15 ft. adjustable Toro nozzles with center screw NOT moved. 1. should I first try turning the center screw clockwise until the spray is altered? 2. will RainBird nozzles fit the 4" Toros? 3. is there a...

Sod several months old, now has several areas of "rusty blades". See picture.

Thanks, Doc. However the saying of "common things happen commonly" might apply here. A moisture meter shows each of these rusty grass areas to be dry to very low, and the ground is difficult to pierce with a sharp object, consistent with the area being super-dry. I don't like the Toro 4"...

Why does the new sod lawn have two different blades? Rye? See picture.

The sod company has poor customer service, but unlike the prior sod company, this sod has no Poa annua.

Sod several months old, now has several areas of "rusty blades". See picture.

Our old bluegrass lawn was >20 years old and we never had the problem described below. A few months ago 80/20 Blue/Rye sod was installed. Watering 20 minutes 3x/week starting at 5AM. Mowing to 1.5 inches. In the past two weeks, areas of "rust" has appeared on some blades, but not in all...

Why does the new sod lawn have two different blades? Rye? See picture.

A few months sod was installed. More and more I note that 10-20% of the blades grow faster and are turned differently. Is this the 20% rye blades in this sod said to be 80/20 blue/rye?

Where to purchase a new central bolt for a Honda HRR216VKA blades? Links please!

Irrespective of any internal damage, it runs/sounds fine so far. If anything more than a key is needed, I'd give it away. I'm not mechanically-skilled.

I called Honda tech support twice, and both agents were puzzled over this "key". They had two part numbers: 94901-16150 90751-ZG#-000 There was no long bar key. Seems I need to call a repair place.

WOW! Nice pix! It's a long groove just like the big pix (lower). I didn't see a small slot depicted in the top diagram. So how does it go if there is the lower config?

So it is not to prevent slipping, but to stop over-tightening?
