Contacted Kobalt 1st thing this morning got the RA then went to Lowes and got a new mower. Manager at Lowes was a good guy and very helpful. Kobalt guy was easy to deal with all done. Here is a direct number to Kobalt CS a real live person answered. 888 356 2258

I just went back to the Lowes store and spoke with the manager. He told me to call Kobalt and get a RA Number and he would take the mower back and exchange it. I was not told that yesterday by the Cluck.

I did not have the manual with me yesterday, but I sure will try it because the store is only 2 miles away.

Yes I am going to contact Kobalt in the morning. What bothers me the most is Lowes not letting me return it. When you look in the manual it says return it to the seller.
