I HAVE A SCAG TURF TIGER 61IN WITH A KAWASAKI 27HP. THE MOWER KEEPS SPUTTERING AND IT DOES BACKFIRE. I CHECKED THE PLUGS AND THEY WERE NOT FOULED. COULD THE COIL BE THE PROBLEM, AND IS THERE ANY WAY TO CHECK THIS. ITS NOT THE BLADE PTO, I UNPLUGED THAT. WOULD SOMEONE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE...

I have a turf tiger, 27hp Kawasaki, 1000hours. Whenever I engage the pto, the engine starts running erratically. Almost acting like it wants to cut off. Then I shift the pto off and it runs fine. where should I look?
