Update: I ordered a new carb from Hipa Carbs that is supposed to fit Kohler SV541. The new carb throttle plate is slightly smaller than the Nikki’s. The throttle shaft is shorter and won’t fit the Nikki carb. So, I installed the Hipa replacement carb on the Kohler engine and it fired right up...
