When you try to start it do you hear a click at the Solenoid? If you do not see if you can turn the blades by hand. if you cannot I would say you have a bent shaft.

Windows 11 is the worst. They have put so many places to go to that I cannot find what I am looking for. Like picture they show the same way to get to them, but when you use it, all of the files are not there. Now you have a Home a Personal and a Gallery. It takes a while to find your files...

I cannot find the oil pump in the parts list. Do you know the part number for the pump? Where do you find the date code.

I have a Grasshopper 616 with a Briggs Vanguard engine Model 356442 Type 0224-B1. I am not getting oil on the top end. I took the valve cover off and ran the engine I did not see any oil. Could you tell me what it might be the cause. Also what I need to do.

Have you checked the flatness of the head and block?
