I can't figure this out installed new float with needle valve. I tested it by blowing air through it air passes through. After installation it seems like fuel not going into cylinders. Spark plugs are dry.

I took the carburetor apart again today. I was trying to blow air in through the inlet keeping the float bowl facing down. The air was going through the passage into the float chamber. When I removed the float and needle valve air passes through. I ordered 16031-7001 Float $24.2 16030-7002...

Yes it attempts to but backfires

If it has an ignition module it would cause a no spark when hot,Check for spark when hot after engine dies. Bad coils could would do that.

On some carburetor you can't adjust float level.

I have replaced ignition modules with the same type of issues on cars and pick ups.
