have excellent old Maruyama string trimmer 2550 that cannot get spark. replaced plug, coil and have continuity, but no spark still. stumped. anyone have any wisdom or suggestions? TIA

what do you mean "If I do not connect the hydro, it becomes a push mower and it can go backwards."? are you disconnecting the cable? or not in gear? may check fluid level. may need to replace cable. boats.net and others have schematics and parts.

nice looking mower. have one. yours looks much better. battery is expensive and does not work that well IMHO

Tranny hesitating on shifting on hr215 2-3 seconds. Besides fluid level and cable adjustment, could there be any other causes ?

Did not know about these mowers, the hr216. Are parts hard to come by? Do you like the mower? how has it held up? Do you have trouble finding parts? One for sale nearby.

Thanks for help/info wfsway. was able to get pin out of bad shaft with angle grinder and have bought new parts. any suggestions/thoughts on getting a new pin into a new shaft? think a cheap, manual arbor press would be helpful or needed? any suggestions on such if so? it is very tight...
