    LA115 starting problem

Good suggestion but too late. Shroud is back on. I did blow everything out with a compressor and clean the carb linkages before reassembling. Maybe next time? Celebrated by changing the oil and filter and installing some new 3-in-1 blades on the deck.

    LA115 starting problem

Again, thank you for your attention, info, and suggestions. I would have no idea what a compression-relief engine is if I hadn't just watched a video that describes it. I just started the mower. It was the valves, both too tight by about .002 in. Cranked right up and runs great. Still doesn't...

    LA115 starting problem

    LA115 starting problem

The engine cranks but will not start. Fuel feed is okay and spark plug sparks. Will not start with starting fluid, either. Running fine yesterday. I got too close to the lake edge while mowing and had to physically pull the mower away from the edge. Turned mower off, released the transmission...
