keep in mind that briggs issued a memo on carb solenoids being bad so i always put shut off valves in fuel line to avoid filling eng with fuel.

Usually its the valves not set right

Do you hear the clutch click if not try unplugging it then turn on. Could be shot. or pto switch is bad.

The magnets your refering to under the flywheel are for charging a battery or other use not running.

I also use the vibertach. Never had any problems.
