Well Mowing season is just about done here

I'll have one more mow this year, probably at the end of next week. Friday will be nice and windy up here in 'Ceciltucky' Maryland, just how I like it! I'll have 50 hours on the new ZT HD by then.

Ikon xd 52 wheels / tire upgrade

Sorry, my dementia flared again, the tires are Reapers, not "Kleavers"🤡

Ikon xd 52 wheels / tire upgrade

There's always a trade-off I guess. I'll probably swap the tires on my ZT-HD at least by next season. This'll be my first zero turn mower, so I have everything to learn. I believe it's coming with Kenda's "Klever" tires that 'look' a little more grabby than turf savers; time will tell.

Don't know about 'feel like' but I've been THINKING about changing out my rear tires with a bar-type model like Kenda and Carlisle make. I've been reading some reviews that say they offer much better traction without digging up the lawn....."IF" the operator does their part!

Briggs & Stratton discontinues all Snapper & Simplicity tractors & zero turns - 9/8/2023

I hear ya on trying to get the best ride. My 'yard' is as rough as any farm field I've been in. I bought my Gravely with their full suspension seat and the upgraded casters with rubber buffers in them. I'll also adjust the tire pressure accordingly.😎

Briggs & Stratton discontinues all Snapper & Simplicity tractors & zero turns - 9/8/2023

I had a Simplicity Prestige bought just a few days ago but after reading this news (that all dealers knew) I went back and retrieved my check. Simplicity sales rep was one of the best I've ever delt with for any product. I'm expecting a Gravely ZT HD to be delivered this week.

    2023 John Deere X380 23/48 or 2022 Simplicity Broadmoor 23/48

Traded the Broadmoor for a 2019 X-580 with 106 hours on it.

    2023 John Deere X380 23/48 or 2022 Simplicity Broadmoor 23/48

If you're up in age or have any shoulder/hand issues, avoid the Broadmoor. Their silly little stub of a deck lever is brutal to use. If I can't get my lever extended, mower's getting sold or traded on a Deere X390 by next year.

    2022 Simplicity Regent or Broadmoor

You need to know I don't care.

    2022 Simplicity Regent or Broadmoor

I'm a relic from the past and that stubby Deck Lever on my Broadmoor has got to go. I'm 'in the process' of getting it extended by a local weld shop. This wouldn't be necessary if I had sense enough to mess with the lever at the dealer....BEFORE buying!🥸
