I have a Generac 15KW standby generator air cooled with 992cc V twin engine, would it be ok to use the oil mentioned above (Amsoil/Kawasaki) and which one would be better?

I did not tamper with the governor, what I did was to remove that after-market carb. (after-market I should have known) and replace it with the original one that I had rebuilt, it seemed too do much better, if that doesn't solve my problem I will get a carb. from J D, any suggestions as to where...

The surging stops when I hold the governor arm in position, could this be a governor problem and if it is what can be done to correct it? Thanks for the replies

I was on here a few months ago and I'm back with the same problem. My D 110 has a B&S model 31p6 77 0125 g5 I can't stop the surging, rebuilt the carb. then replaced the carb. set the valves none of this works, it levels off in choke position, or at half too three-quarter speed, air filter off...

Solved my problem, the jet that sat in that hole at the very bottom, maybe master jet, had rolled off to the side of my worktable out of site and I forgot about it, once it was put in place engine started and ran just fine. Thanks again for all of the help

I did remove float and needle and I do have fuel in the bowl, am I missing something? I have a family gathering later today I will get back to all of you later. Thanks

Solenoid connected and working, I used carburetor cleaner and blew with air, was using carb. cleaner the wrong thing to do? Thanks for the help

I have a J D w/B&S engine model 31p6770125g5 it was running rough at idle and half speed, so I decided to put repair kit in carburetor, after completing my project engine does not start I have gas in carburetor bowl but can't get gas to cylinder what should I do? Thanks in advance
