    I'm back on a Grasshopper

Scag is a close second in my book, but I needed to be able to use a blade in my yard. I tore out the old landscaping here and had new driveway poured... now to bring in dirt and level off, and that I couldn't do with the Scag. I purchased a walk behind Scag back in the early 90's and had zero...

    I'm back on a Grasshopper

Today I traded in my Scag Liberty for a 729 G2 with a Kubota. I'm back on a Grasshopper. It is a used machine and I'll pick it up in a couple of days after it is fully serviced, but it's nice to know I will be able to plow again. I had a 725 I purchased in 2001 and luved the machine... powerful...

    Mower blade stuck

Taking a closer look I think my comment of a bent shaft is incorrect.

    Scag Liberty Z opinions?

I purchased a Z 52" with a kawi this spring and so far I luv it. Motor is quieter than a Kohler and I think smoother. I did upgrade the seat and had to swap out the sticks for some longer ones from a Ferris.

    Mower blade stuck

I would say that you did bend the shaft. I was able to save a new mower years back with help from a friend at a repair business. We mounted the engine in a "Shaft Saver" and was able to bend it back to where we could use the mower. It was long ago and I can't remember how much it was bent and...

Looking at a new Scag 48" Liberty Z

When I dropped off the check for my Liberty Z the dealer told me they are having trouble getting the Kawi engines due to the shortage of darn near everything.

Looking for an ATV forum, for a work quad not racing or off-road

I have no problem changing out a belt. Sure a lot cheaper than a mini tractor at this point. Was successful in pulling the grader in my drive and my neighbors drive. It does smooth out the stones really well. Gotta go and order a backup belt for the golf cart.

    Hibernation is about over.

I am retired now but when I was driving truck for a living I remember being concerned about hearing my blood being pumped by my heart when I would pull into a stop and crawl out of the truck. Told doctor about it and it was shrugged off. My blood pressure was never as high as yours and I must...

Looking for an ATV forum, for a work quad not racing or off-road

Not really, don't need that much power and price ruled them out. I did a preliminary pull of the grader with my golf cart and it did better than expected. It will certainly be a learning process on how to adjust the grader on the drive as mine is not flat as many of the videos show the use of...

Looking for an ATV forum, for a work quad not racing or off-road

WOW, lots of responses wasn't expecting. I have an E-Z-Go Freedom cart with the 13 hp motor and it does the job on most everything I have up until now. Since I moved I will have close to 700 feet of stone driveway to keep groomed and to do that I picked up a DR Power Grader, the 48" model...

Looking for an ATV forum, for a work quad not racing or off-road

Thought I would post this question here in case anyone knows of a site for Honda ATV's. I need to upgrade from a Golf Cart for work here at my home and a 4x4 quad is what I am looking to do research on. I need to be able to pull yard trailers, roller, thatcher and a DR Power Grader to keep my...

DR Power Grader, anyone have experience with?

I went ahead and purchased a used DR Power Grader (DR Power PG25148XEN PRO 48) in the hope I can pull it with my E-Z-Go golf cart. If that doesn't work I will have to use my Scag Liberty Z but I really didn't want to use the zero turn for this. I haven't been pleased with the ride on the E-Z-Go...
