I have an extra wire with a male end hanging near the starter solenoid. Does anyone know why. I can't find anywhere it would plug into. I noticed it when replacing my solenoid and starter. Thanks

This part fell from under my 21 hp craftsman mower, Model 917.28924, after I ran into a 4 x 4 landscape tie. I examined the undercarriage but can't find where it was located.
