kohler makes a kit you can buy that has the templates to cut your blower housing with metal covers so you can just take the cover off and you don't have to take the blower housing off.

So how do you disengage the blades turn the switch off?

Treat the fuel with sea foam. Take the fuel filter loose and drain the fuel out of it fill it with sea foam. Start and run see if that clears it up.

Solution of baking soda and water will boil the crud out of the cable ends. Just stick the end of the cable in the solution.

Sorry it is on a CH not a CV. It runs fine for a while and then just dies. It is blowing oil out the little vent filter on the fuel pump and around the pulse hose to the fuel pump. Problem is I would have to pull the engine to do the job want to be sure that is the problem. It is on a 420 JD...

What is the best way you guys have found to diagnose a blown head gasket on a Kohler CH740 engine.

Horizontals are hard to get off most of them you have to take the engine off to even get the ignition modules off.

The type and code would help along with the model no. of the equipment it is on.
