Hello sgkent, Your right I am confused I could not find any resources other than checking the throttle linkage or spring tension. Which I already did before asking you. Could you suggest something more specific as the problem? Thank you

After replacing the push rod, I inspected the governor gear and arm and found no signs of wear or damage. Should I adjust the arm position? Thank you

I have a 149cc Kohler on a self propelled Toro which would not start. Turns out the intake push rod had broke. After I repaired that it fired right up but runs at full throttle. I'm not sure if they are related or I have other problems. If someone could share some help I thank you.Dave @...
