S# M0502061 That's what I read about mufflers also but even brand new engines don't come with mufflers. The PO rigged a muffler on the 25hp Kawi that was on the mower when I bought it. Needless to say, I can't use that.

Yes, that's what it acts like. I couldn't think of anything other than the seat switch that would do that. I eliminated that switch and it still cuts out. I will keep looking ...

Yes, I disconnected all and sprayed electrical cleaner and put die-electric grease in female ends. The only connector that came loose while shaking wires was the mower clutch connector. I put a tie-wrap around it.

I disconnected the seat switch, shorted out connector, it still cut out.

Yes, I removed the tank and washed it out with some old gas I had, then blew it out. I have no idea what type of gas can the owners are using.

I started it up and shook every wire and connector. nothing happened . ?? It's been raining here all day, I'll ride it tomorrow and heat it up to see if that matters.

I had already pulled the plunger out of the solenoid while testing for fuel delivery issues.

This issue is like I lose spark when I hit a bump. Nothing to do with fuel delivery.
