This is almost impossible to answer, it could be a .50 cent nut to $1000 haydrostatic transmission, if it runs but will not move pay very little for it, and since you will take it to shop to be fixed you might not want to buy it.

Make sure you haven't overfilled it, 10w30 should be correct weight, when overfilled it will blow white and blue smoke, give us the engine numbers like Rivits ask and we can tell you how much oil and what weight it calls for.

Check the top left blue wire nut, I can't tell if that's writing or wire sticking out of the bottom of it, if wire that's most likely where it's shorting.

Check the wiring very closely, it sounds like you have a wire grounding out, I know you probably have but take a deep breath and start all over it will be obvious when you find it.

It was most likely who ever changes oil that did it, its wrong someone should have checked the mower for any issues especially from a dealer before it was sent to you.

Also check the 2 drive belts, long one from engine to transmission and short one on drive pulley, if you haven't changed them in a long time they are worn and stretched.
