Well said but... I don't have the resources to do any of that and I need to get this mower up and running. I figure if I can find a reasonable deck I can build one from 2 and get on with mowing. AS long as the deck housing is in decent cond. I can use parts from my old deck to do a quick build...

I have a 31 yr. old Statesman ( AYP ) 20hp tractor with a 50" deck. I have rebuilt the deck 3 times but it is at this juncture falling apart. It is rusting out around the spindel mounting area. I can't seem to find a replacement deck housing anywhere. Any suggestions are welcome. I really can't...
