Make sure the lever that raises and lowers the deck is not bent. I had an LTX1045 and I seem to remember that being an issue.

I have a 2018 XT1 (46" deck) with 160 hours on it. It has the original belt. I do what Rivets recommends. The belt is in good shape with no missing "chunks".

I saw this once. I think one of you pulleys got pushed to far up or too far down and the belt has a steep angle going into or out of the engine pulley.
