Model number is correct. It's an older machine. Probably late 80's or early 90's. Maybe they changed the spindle since then.

I'm looking for some guidance on how to take this type spindle apart to replace the bearings. Deck spindle from a Craftsman 917.287.460 lawn tractor. Pulley is welded to the shaft, so I assume the blade flange has to come off. No sign of a roll pin or other keeper. Just trying to keep the thing...
