The old engine lost compression with a bent rod.

I have an Kawasaki® FR691V Twin 23 hp/726cc. It is on an ariens ikon xd 52. I want to replace it with a FS691V. Will this work as a replacement? The FS engine is slightly large. That is about all I know.
